This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Clayton Harris who was born in Illinois on August 20, 1997 and passed away on September 05, 1997 . We will remember him forever.
August 20 is my father-in-law's birthday, my sister's birthday, and now my son's birthday. After a normal and healthy pregnancy, my first child was born just 16 days early. Other than being a little small, he was healthy as could be. We went to his first check-up when he was about a week old. He was still doing really well, and had even gained a little weight. A little over a week later, he went to sleep and never woke up. After an autopsy, we were told that our son had died from SIDS.

Never Forgotten / Brittney (Burson) Homann
It's amazing how after 27 years of life, I question whether or not I have made an impact, when after only 16 days of life, we still remember, love, and mourn Clayton. Even though I haven't seen or spoken to Angela or Jeff in almost 10 years, I ...

The Brief Touch of a Child Clayton was only here for a short time, but he managed to change many lives forever. My husband and I became more mature and responsible much faster than other people our age. We cherish every moment with our other children, and truly understand their value. We try to keep in mind that anything is possible and that it can happen to you...whatever it is. Everyone in our extended families were also greatly affected by Clayton as well as friends of the family, but I will let them tell their stories. |
